poncho, 2024
Poncho is a series of soft sculptural hanging works made from lightweight disposable raincoats. The work came out of the Tropical Lab residency hosted by La Salle School of Art in Singapore for an group exhibition themed The Weather in August 2024.
Derived from the deconstructed form of the parachute, the works are engaging with the inherent translucency, disposability and fragility of the material.
