Exploring the poetic, ambiguous and generative space of the in-between in contemporary installation practice. This project uses experimental material and object combinations to create shifting legibilities, generating complex evolving languages beyond the realm of logic and certainty. Printing, painting, assemblage and optical techniques are employed within installation practice to harness uncertain outcomes and open up a range of interpretative and experiential possibilities. Employing minimal gestures and strategies of distortion, slippage, layering and composites; new visions arise reflecting conditions of technology, excess, turbulence, artifice, and connecting the viewer to the vitality of matter and materials.
